I didn't back a winner in the race but I'm not disappointed. I had a win today in another way as did many other cyclists who have been following a certain court case in California. Dr Christopher Thomas Thompson was found guilty on all charges after a trial in which he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, reckless driving causing specified bodily injury and battery with serious bodily injury and mayhem.

Watched a guy with a trailer dump do the same thing to a bunch of us on a saturday morning ride on the Rocky Lake Road BoaB. No body went into the back of the trailer but when he tried to get out of the tractor the boys pelted him with water bottles so he thought better and took off.
He was pissed because we were only doing 55k in a 50k zone mind you.

He's lucky nobody ripped his arm off and beat him with it. Methinks that sometimes we interfere with Darwinian theory too much.
